Highlighting that it will be this week when the delivery of support begins, the president pointed out that the objective is “to be able to serve all the affected families, which we estimate will reach close to 100 thousand, it also depends. Some have completely lost their homes and others have minor damage, but I probably arrived or well, rather, the first estimate is 10 billion pesos of direct support to people, to recover schools, clinics, employment, building the future.”
Meanwhile, the secretary of Wellness, Ariadna Montielreported that starting next Wednesday October 22 the first support will be delivered 20 thousand pesos to all homes affected by the rains in five states of the country.
“We have so far 70,445 homes registered in the five states… Hidalgo 5 thousand 56; Querétaro, 2 thousand 62; Puebla, 10 thousand 811; San Luis Potosí, 8 thousand 938, and Veracruz; 43 thousand 578”.

Federal government concludes census in some states
He reported that The census has already concluded in Querétaro, Puebla, San Luis Potosí; while in Veracruz and Hidalgo they continue working in areas that are difficult to access.

The secretary assured that, after censusing 70,445 homes in 100 municipalities of the five states affected by the rains, it was determined to grant a second support according to the level of damage.
He explained that for homes that suffered medium damage, a second support of 25 thousand pesosfor those who had greater damage, they will be given 40 thousand pesosy 70 to those who lost their homes, while houses that are on river slopes and that are at risk will be relocated.
He said that support for commercial premises will be 50 thousand pesoswhile support for fields and livestock will range from 50 and 100 thousand pesosdepending on the number of hectares.
Ariadna Montiel reported that there will be support from 500 thousand pesos for clinics, in addition to the insurance that is in place to cover damage to the Health infrastructure; Under this same scheme, support will be given to 750 basic and upper secondary education schools with 200 thousand pesosadditional to the resource covered by the insurance.

He highlighted that 50 thousand people will be employed for four months, with a minimum salary of 8,500 pesos per monthfor the recovery of roads.
Montiel recalled that to receive support the victims have to bring the receipt that they were given when they went to their house to be registered, in addition to proof that they were registered and an official identification with a photograph, which can be the voting card, the passport, the professional license, or the Inapam credential.
Government announces cell phone alert system
In order to have better warning about rain, the Digital Transformation Agency It is working on a system that allows notification through cell phones, which is expected to be ready this year, reported president Claudia Sheinbaum.

The head of the federal Executive announced four axes of work in the face of the rain emergency:
