The first day of the Mexican Grand Prix was full of excitement from the attendees

People celebrated and shouted excitedly every time their favorite team passed in front of them.

Mexico City, October 25 (However).- This Friday the first day of the Mexico City Grand Prix, a day in which the two free practice races were held so that the drivers could recognize the track and for the attendees to enjoy those breaks that they take at some points of the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez.

The party started early with a practice session for the Formula 4 NACAM Championship, there was also the GTM Super Cup, but the most anticipated thing happened at 12:30 on the day. Exactly from 11 in the morning, the arrival of more people was noticeable who accessed the Autodromo from different points, one of them from the Velodromo metro, they walked to the Palacio de los Deportes and entered through the pedestrian bridges that took them to the seating areas at the GNP Stadium.

Before the race, some people took the opportunity to eat something (there were tacos, cakes, pizza, hot dogs), others bought something to drink, either a non-alcoholic Heineken 00 or one of the other options to cool off, because the heat felt strong and the sun was almost up.

At approximately 12:30 the screens showed how the pilots began the practices, those who were in the stands of the GNP Stadium were able to enjoy that pause that the pilots make so that the public can enjoy seeing those powerful machines roar and take that curve with caution. The presence of Mexican Patricio O’Ward stood out, receiving applause and shouts from those in attendance.

After an hour of practice, GTM Super Copa appeared again on the track for its practice 2 and qualifying session. Later, at 4 in the afternoon, the Formula 1 drivers returned to continue exciting everyone who screamed when their favorite team appeared.

In the end the result was Charles Leclerc, of the Ferrari team, in the lead, as he finished in first position with a time of 1:18.380, followed by the Italian Kimi Antonelli of Mercedes with 1:18.487 and in third place Nico Hülkenberg of Sauber with 1:18.760.

Today is time for the third practice and later, around 3 pm, the qualifying race so that tomorrow the moment expected by all Formula 1 followers arrives; the great race of the Mexico City Grand Prix.
