After an action coordinated by the institutions that make up the Security Cabinet, the arrest of “H4”, a member of the Los Beltrán Leyva cartel, was achieved in Edomex.
Mexico City, October 24 (However).- In a coordinated action, federal forces today detained Jair Francisco “N”, alias “H4”, who is designated as a member of the Los Beltrán Leyva cartel.
Through a statement set, the Security Cabinet of the Government of Mexico reported that the capture took place in the Mexico-Querétaro highwayin the municipality of Tepotzotlán, State of Mexico (Edomex)as a result of investigative work during which evidence was collected that was subsequently presented before a Judge to obtain an arrest warrant.
“The detainee was informed of his legal rights and was placed at the disposal of the competent authorities to determine his legal situation,” the Security Cabinet said in its statement.

The Cabinet also indicated that “H4” is a relative of Juan Francisco Patrón Sánchez, alias “H2”, one of the main leaders of drug trafficking in Mexico and who lost his life on February 10, 2017 after an operation that took place in Tepic, Nayarit.
According to what was announced by the security institutions, the detainee “has an arrest warrant for the purpose of extradition to the United States for the crimes of drug trafficking, criminal association, against health, use of firearms for the exclusive use of the Armed Forces and operations with resources of illicit origin.”
The operation that led to the capture of the drug trafficker included the participation of the Secretariat of the Navy (Semar), the Attorney General’s Office (FGR) through the Criminal Investigation Agency (AIC), the Secretariat of National Defense (Defense), the National Guard (GN) and the Secretariat of Security and Citizen Protection (SSPC).
