Bonnie Blue’s Instagram posts have always been, let’s say, unique, but as of late, she’s started to reference the 1999 classic from Lana and Lilly Wachowski, The Matrix.
The first post came just over a week ago when Bonnie Blue shared a video suggesting she was getting spicy with some men in the back of a van. She captioned the post, “Matrix breaker, van shaker”, and has continued with the trend ever since.
On Monday, she again posted about The Matrix, this time alongside pictures that showed her being lifted into the air by a bunch of men in suits and black sunglasses, seemingly a reference to characters in the film such as Neo and Morpheus.
“Sorry, Daddy, but this is the second time I was punished by the Matrix,” she captioned the post.
Even on Twitter, which can’t be shared here for obvious reasons, Bonnie has referenced The Matrix on more than one occasion – but what does it mean? Or is she just a lover of science fiction classics?

Here’s the reason Bonnie Blue is talking about The Matrix
Bonnie Blue started posting about The Matrix after her infamous interview alongside Andrew Tate. A coincidence? We think not.
You see, in the decades since The Matrix hit cinemas, its themes, motifs, and storylines have been adopted by the incel movement. Incels, an abbreviation of “involuntarily celibate”, have become synonemous with the “manosphere” content that Andrew Tate peddles to his millions of minions.
In fact, the red pill movement as a whole adopted its name from the red pill in The Matrix. In the film, the red pill wakes you up from The Matrix, while the blue pill allows you to remain blissfully ignorant inside the simulation. Essentially, incels argue that they’ve taken the red pill and become aware of the biases against men and the destructive influence of feminism.
“You won’t need the blue pills when I’m around,” Bonnie wrote in another post, which showed her scantily clad around other suited and booted gents.

Whichever way you look at Bonnie Blue’s Matrix references, it’s just icky. If she’s trying to appeal to incels, a group famed for their hatred of women, then you have to question her previous statements about championing women and being a proud feminist. If her posts are supposed to be satirical in nature, I’m sorry to say that the joke just didn’t land.
As evidenced by the growing body of research around incels, and shows like Netflix’s Adolesence, red pill thinking is a major issue threatening both young men – and more importantly – the physical safety of women.
Shockingly, Bonnie’s not the only OnlyFans girly to have tried to appeal to *that* group of people in recent years, with model Cami Strella earlier detailing how Adolesence had inspired her to sleep with incels.
“I consider this a form of public service,” she told Jam Press. “I want to help those who have never had sex before avoid going down a bad path.”
