In Michoacán, Yankel Benítez Silva, secretary of the Morelia city council, announced that the sale of alcohol will be restricted during the Night of the Dead.

At a press conference held this Monday at the Civil Pantheon, he stated that the sale of intoxicating beverages will not be allowed in establishments around 200 meters around the Civil, Luz de la Esperanza and El Vergel annex pantheons.
In municipalities throughout the country, the cleaning of cemeteries and security operations begins; in Morelia they will prohibit the sale of alcohol
This prohibition will not affect marketing in other parts of the municipality, nor will it affect sales and consumption in any of the businesses authorized to do so.
The validity of the measure will be from 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 1 to 11:59 p.m. on Sunday the 2nd.

Meanwhile, the Federation of Merchants, Tenants and Service Providers (Fecopse) announced the holding of the Special Night Market for the Day of the Dead in Sombrerete, Querétaro, in the San Pablo neighborhood.

The event will take place on October 27 and 28, starting at 6:00 p.m., with the participation of merchants who will offer traditional products and items for the making of altars and offerings.

The Secretariat of Comprehensive Risk Management and Civil Protection of Guerrero has reinforced preventive actions throughout the state on the occasion of these festivities to prevent risks and guarantee the safety of locals and visitors.
