The occupation wounds two young men near Jenin and Jerusalem and storms the home of a freed prisoner in Ramallah news

At dawn on Friday, the Israeli occupation forces continued their campaigns in several areas in the West Bank, including wounding two young men near Jenin and north of occupied Jerusalem, in addition to raiding the home of a freed prisoner in Ramallah.

The Palestinian Red Crescent reported that a boy was injured by Israeli occupation forces’ bullets in the town of Kafr, north of occupied Jerusalem, while Palestinian platforms documented the moment a young man was wounded by occupation bullets in the town of Qabatiya, southwest of Jenin.

The occupation forces stormed the town of Al-Shuyoukh, north of Hebron, and the town of Sa’ir, also located north of the city, and carried out searches and raids on a number of homes.

Palestinian sources reported that the occupation forces stormed Izbat Al-Tayyah, south of the city of Tulkarm, and arrested a young man there, coinciding with another storming of the city of Nablus from the Al-Murabba checkpoint.

Sources also reported to Al Jazeera that the occupation forces stormed the town of Deir Ghassana, west of Ramallah, and raided the home of the freed and deported prisoner Yousef Dawoud.

The Palestinian Prisoners’ Club announced yesterday that the occupation forces have arrested at least 35 Palestinians since Wednesday evening in the West Bank, including Jerusalem.

The occupation forces carried out raids targeting various areas in the West Bank, and launched an arrest campaign that included dozens, including the director of the Wall and Settlement Resistance Authority, Murad Shteiwi, who was arrested after storming his house in the town of Kafr Qaddum, east of Qalqilya. He was subjected to field investigation before being later released.

Converting houses into barracks

The occupation forces turned a number of homes into military barracks and closed the entrances to the town. Pictures published by local media showed the extent of the destruction inflicted by the occupation army on the contents of citizens’ homes during the storming operation.

Witnesses told Anadolu Agency yesterday that the occupation army arrested 9 Palestinians from the towns of Allar and Sidon, north of Tulkarm, two from the city of Nablus, and 5 from the city of Jenin, while the occupation army arrested two citizens from the city of Bethlehem, and a young man and a minor from the city of Hebron.

This is accompanied by an escalation in settler attacks, as their attacks against Palestinian farmers increase annually with the start of the olive harvest season, which is a basic source of livelihood for thousands of Palestinian families.

According to official Palestinian data, settlers carried out 7,154 attacks against Palestinians and their property in the West Bank during the two years of genocide in Gaza, resulting in the martyrdom of 33 citizens and the displacement of 33 Bedouin communities.

In parallel with the war on Azza, the Israeli occupation – army and settlers – killed at least 1,052 Palestinians in the West Bank, and wounded about 10,300 others, in addition to arresting more than 20,000, including 1,600 children.
