The Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister receives the Foreign Minister of Djibouti news

Today, Sunday in Doha, the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani, received the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Djibouti, Abdul Qadir Hussein Omar, where the two sides discussed issues of common interest.

According to what was reported by Qatar News Agency (QNA), during the interview, cooperation relations between the two countries and ways to support and enhance them were reviewed.

Developments in the situation in the Gaza Strip and the occupied Palestinian territories were also discussed, in light of the ceasefire agreement in the Strip, in addition to a number of topics of common interest.

The two countries signed two memorandums of understanding regarding establishing a joint committee for cooperation and conducting political consultations on issues of common interest.

The two memorandums of understanding were signed on the Qatari side by the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Sultan bin Saad Al Muraikhi, and on the Djibouti side by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Abdul Qadir Hussein Omar, who also serves as the official spokesman for the government of Djibouti.
