It may have now been a couple of weeks since Amy Bradley Is Missing was released on Netflix, but still everyone is talking about the photos believed to be her that were posted on an adult website. And as the Netflix doc wanted, this renewed interest in the Amy Bradley case has meant there have been new developments and updates.
In March 1998, Amy Bradley went missing from a Royal Caribbean cruise ship. Amy was 23 at the time of her disappearance, and was a a recent college graduate, travelling with her family. On the night she went missing she had been in the club on the ship, then was last seen in the early hours of the morning, on the balcony of the family cabin. The case has never been solved.
One of the theories raised in new Netflix documentary Amy Bradley Is Missing came after the Bradley family was sent images from an anonymous sender. In September 2005, the family received pictures that claimed to be of Amy – under a different name – on an adult website.
The woman was called Jas, and the site was based in the Caribbean. The anonymous sender attached a link to the website, which showed sex workers for hire. At the time, an FBI analysis concluded that the woman in the photos was Amy, but the IP address for the site couldn’t be tracked. Nothing came of the tip off.
But since the Netflix documentary, people have been digging into the pictures more. There have a number of developments regarding the photos many believe are of Amy Bradley.

The creators of the Netflix doc have said it’s the theory they believe the most
After the doc was released, the creators of Amy Bradley Is Missing shared what they think happened to her, given their extensive research and interviews with those closest to the case. Ari Mark and Phil Lott said they think Amy is alive.
The creators were also asked about the photos found on the adult website. They said the pictures are “very convincing” and “blew us away”. They added they think the Netflix documentary will help Amy be found.

One place where this theory is discussed regularly is the AmyLynnBradley Reddit page. On there, someone merged photos of Amy with the pictures of Jas, and the result was uncanny.
“That’s insane, almost an exact match,” the top comment said. Another added: “It’s uncanny when you put the photos next to each other like this.” Other comments called the pictures “identical”.

In an interview shared on CourtTV, private investigator and former NYPD officer Manuel Gomez said there is no doubt in his mind the photos are of Amy Bradley. He urged the family to hire an investigator to look into them further, and said there is still a chance Amy could be brought home, safe.
“I did some serious research this weekend into this case and I’ve got to be honest with you there is no doubt in my mind that the 2005 photo of that lady is Amy,” he defiantly said. “There is no doubt. I’m 100 per cent sure. I’m willing to bet my license on it.”
He went on to say the Bradley family needs to hire a private investigator who can “infiltrate” the traffickers, pose as someone wanting to use their services, and bring Amy home. He concluded: “We need to get this to another level. They need to get this to a seasoned investigator to look at these websites. That’s how they can save her. I can guarantee that.”

One of the biggest points made in the Netflix doc was that the photos of Jas appeared to have been posed so that none of Amy Bradley’s tattoos and identifying marks could be seen. Her brother Brad has said she had a cross tattoo above her ankle. Now, someone has found in one of the photos a shadow that appears to be this tattoo.
“You can clearly see the cross tattoo and the rest covered up by foundation,” the poster said. One comment replied: “Holy sh*t, that’s huge. Excellent investigative work.”
Another photo was found, containing another detail confirming they’re Amy
A user on the Reddit page managed to find another photo of “Jas” and said it further “proves” the photos are actually of Amy. The picture shows Jas from the waist down, with her hand on her leg. They then said Amy Bradley’s pinky finger slightly bends inwards, as you can see in some pictures of her with her family. The woman in the photo has the same thing.
The user said: “So on the Netflix doc, Amy’s mom makes a comment that Amy’s pinky fingers bend inward. I looked at this picture of the family on the cruise and you can see Amy’s pinky fingers bend inward and how it’s bent inward like her mom said. I then compared it to a photo of ‘Jas’ and wow this ‘Jas’ also has the same curved pinky fingers.”
In the comments, everyone is blown away. Most are shocked the picture of Jas didn’t make it into the Netflix doc, despite having such an important detail in it. “Wow good catch! I heard her mom say that too about her pinkies and I never thought to check.. very smart,” one person said.

Someone on Reddit upscaled the photos believed to be of Amy Bradley, and this raised even more questions. They said after doing so, they were less sure the photos were of Amy Bradley. They said the higher quality images don’t look as much like her.
Sharing the pictures, the original poster said: “Upscaled versions of Jas/Amy (I’m not so convinced that it’s her anymore). But….there is an interesting shadow on her shoulder blade in the 4th photo that could possibly indicate her Tasmanian Devil tattoo.”
Someone in the comments added: “Never was convinced.” Another said: “I don’t think it’s Amy in the photos. I feel so bad for the woman in these photos her eyes are very sad.”
