The Traitors fans have hailed the finale of the BBC series as one of the ‘most phenomenal episodes in the history of British television’.
After four weeks of backstabbing, woeful Faithful guessing and incredible drama, the finale of one of the most beloved shows in the UK certainly delivered the goods.
In what was a breathtaking 75 minutes, Stephen and Rachel kept their promise to each other to become the first two Traitors to ever win the game.
Fittingly described by Claudia Winkelman as ‘two Traitors but absolutely faithful to each other’, viewers called the historic moment in the series ‘absolutely incredible’.
Taking to X, James called the duo ‘the best traitors ever’ asRory said ‘this is the best ending ever’.
Charlie also claimed that the ending was ‘heartwarming’, adding that the ‘Faithfuls didn’t deserve it’.
Calling Stephen and Rachel ‘incredible’, Nathan said that the duo ‘100% deserved the win’, while Cynthia wrote: ‘Say what you will about Rachel and Stephen, but this was the most emotionally thrilling and phenomenal episode I have ever seen in the history of British television.’

Echoing their praise for the series, Carrie said it was ‘absolutely incredible television’ as Alex called it ‘the BEST win in the entire history of the show! THE BEST!’
Admitting that the Traitors ‘played a blinder’, Selina also said that this is the ‘best ever Traitor performance in the history of the show’.
The episode began with a tense game of luck between Rachel and James, which saw the former exit the competition.
In his usual performative way, he teased the rest of the players by appearing to confess that he was a traitor before walking away as a Faithful.
As the remaining players then schemed between themselves as to who they were going to vote, a jaw-dropping challenge ensued that saw the group walk off a bridge face first.
A tense roundtable saw Faraaz and Jade accuse each other of being Traitors before Rachel gave an impassioned speech about how she has ‘never lied’.
In a dramatic turn of events, Stephen then launched a counter attack against Rachel at the roundtable.
However, he stuck by his Traitor when his deciding vote sent home Jade.
