The ultimate guide to where students can nab free food on A-Level Results Day 2025 – Bundlezy

The ultimate guide to where students can nab free food on A-Level Results Day 2025

14th August 2025 is the long-awaited (and long-dreaded) A-Level Results Day. But loads of restaurants across the UK are offering free food to A-Level students in the week of Results Day, to help you celebrate your success (or drown your sorrows). Finally, A-Levels have a purpose!

Lots of these offers include freebies for the friends of students who eat with them. So even if you haven’t suffered through exams this year, you can grab your mate/sibling/cousin/neighbour/co-worker/distant acquaintance, march down the high street, and see how many free puddings you can get. What a win.

Remember to double check the terms and conditions of all these offers before you rock up somewhere expecting freebies. Most places will ask for evidence you’ve actually got your results, and some form of student ID.

So, here are 14 places where students can shamelessly grab free food on A-Level Results Day 2025:

Dessert at Ask Italian

Rock up with A-Level or GCSE results between 14th August and 22nd August, and you can get up to six desserts for free per adult main you pay for.

Pad thai at Banana Tree

A-Level students can sign up for a voucher here, then claim a free pad thai on Results Day.

Starters and desserts at Bella Italia

This offer slaps, because your whole table can get free food (whether they’ve done exams or not). Buy a main, and you’ll get a free starter and dessert.

Dessert at Bill’s

A-Level students and GCSE students can ask for a free dessert at Bill’s on their Results Days, as long as they also buy a main meal.

Free matcha lattes at Bird & Blend

This is the energy boost we need to make those phone calls about clearing places. People armed with their grades and a student ID can pick one of the 20 types of matcha at Bird & Blent coffee shops throughout the UK, between 11am and 5pm. Flavoured matchas are usually £4.50, so this is a great opportunity to not have to pay for one.

Burgers at Byron Burgers

Yup, A-Level students on 14th August and GCSE students on 21st August can get two burgers for the price of one. So, your friends can shamelessly mooch off this offer too.

Steak at Côte Brasserie

This is a banging deal. If you took A-Level French, then Côte Brasserie will give you free French fries. Finally, a reason to have learned all those verbs! If you present a waiter with your French grade, you’ll get a free steak frites or vegan burger. Students who didn’t take French can still get a free pudding. You’ll all get a £10 Côte Brasserie voucher, too.

Churros at Las Iguanas

Show staff a pic of your A-Level results between 14th and 22nd August, and you’ll get a free single portion of churros. You don’t have to buy anything else in Las Iguanas to use this offer.

Chicken at Nando’s

Odds are that you’ll have plenty of cheeky Nando’s trips throughout your time at university. So, you might as well start now. Turn up to the till with your grades and student ID on 14th August, spend at least £7 on something else, and you’ll get a free 1/4 chicken or a starter.

Dessert at Pizza Express

If you show the team a UNiDAYS Results Day offer code, and order a main, you can get a free dessert at Pizza Express between the 4th and the 17th of August.

Slushies at Showcase Cinemas

If you need a cinema trip to distract you from your disappointing grades, then Showcase Cinemas will give A-Level students a free ICEE drink.

Main meal at TGI Fridays

All throughout August (but not on Fridays or Saturdays) students who’ve done GCSEs, A-Levels, degrees or pretty much anything else can claim a free main meal, as long as they eat with a friend who actually pays for a main meal.

Money off at Wagas

Wagas katsu curry is surely a staple of student culture

Students usually get 20 per cent off at Wagamama, but between the 14th and the 20th of August, you can get 25 per cent off, if you also sign up to their Soul Club.

Mystery freebies at Zizzi

I’m so intrigued by this one. A-Level and GCSE students on Results Day or the following day will be presented with a mysterious envelope. The envelope will contain some kind of offer – ranging from free mozerella and garlic bombes, to drinks, to a voucher for a £150 meal. That’s a whole lot of pizza.
