Geopolitical tension
Donald Trump suggested the possibility of authorizing ground operations in Venezuelan territory, in addition to reinforcing CIA covert actions.
For its part, Venezuela maintains its rejection of these operations and demands explanations before international organizations.
The attack is in addition to five previous operations that would have caused the death of at least 27 people.
Among the victims were fishermen Treatwhich caused commotion in communities in the region.
The Venezuelan ambassador to the UN, Samuel Moncada, described the operations as a “new series of extrajudicial executions” and requested the Security Council to investigate these facts.
