To get a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame is one of the most iconic accolades celebrities can hope to receive. The famous walk features names such as Michael Jackson, Marilyn Monroe, Angelina Jolie and even Donald Trump.
The star costs a shocking $75,000 to fund, and some celebrities have even declined the honour, such as Julia Roberts and Clint Eastwood.

This week, the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce released its list of the celebrities who will receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2026, and the internet is rejoicing. For some on the list, it’s been a long time coming, and we’re so glad they’ve finally been recognised!
Miley Cyrus
@mileycyrus Tell ’em B.
Maybe releasing her song Walk of Fame and filming the music video on the iconic Hollywood street was a wake up call for the Chamber of Commerce. Miley was featured in its announcement in the Recording category, and rightfully so. She has five songs with over one billion streams, and has been working in the industry since 2001. It’s been a long time coming!
Timothée Chalamet

At only 29 years old, actor Timothée Chalamet has been included on the list in the Motion Pictures category. He has also been in the industry for a long time, beginning his acting career in 2012, and has since starred in successful films such as Call Me By Your Name, Lady Bird, Beautiful Boy, Little Women, and the Dune franchise. Wonka has been purposefully left off this list – a blip in his stellar career.
Club Chalamet is predictably already going to war for him on Twitter- we won’t be fighting in their comments section, both because of our love for Timmy and our deep fear for his infamous Twitter stan account.
Rachel McAdams

Get in losers, we’re going to the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Another celeb destined for a star in the 2026 Walk of Fame is iconic and versatile actress Rachel McAdams, who features in the Motion Pictures section. We’re all just surprised that she hasn’t already been awarded a star.
Known best for her roles in Mean Girls, The Notebook, and About Time, we can’t wait to see Rachel accept her star, and are hoping Ryan Gosling might also appear to celebrate.
Emily Blunt

From Mary Poppins to A Quiet Place and Oppenheimer to The Devil Wears Prada, no one can accuse Emily Blunt of sticking to one genre. The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce certainly doesn’t think so, and awarded the actress her star in the Motion Pictures category.
As long as she keeps voicing her character in My Little Pony: The Movie, we’re thrilled she has been recognised.
Gordon Ramsay

The iconic creator of the idiot sandwich and recurring nightmare for every mediocre restaurant worldwide, Gordon Ramsay has been awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame 2026 in the Entertainment category. His 32 year long career includes being a chef, shouting at chefs, and turning his children into chefs. Gordon Ramsay has certainly become an iconic part of not just British but also worldwide culture.
Hopefully he approves of his gold star at his celebration ceremony – or someone’s getting fired.
Demi Moore

The Substance actress no longer needs to wish she was Margaret Qualley!. Demi established herself in Hollywood after starring in Ghost, a heartbreaking blockbuster everyone’s mum has cried to. She then went on to star in G.I. Jane and Charlie’s Angels. Once the highest paid actress in the world, we’re so glad to see that she’s finally been awarded this accolade forty years into her career.
For anyone spiralling that they’re wasting their 20s, let the 60-year-old icon be an example to you that you have your whole life to be successful.
Shaquille O’Neal

Shaq is the only sports star to be awarded this year. However, he is not only a retired pro basketball star but has also tried out acting, music, television and gaming. As if being one of the greatest basketball players of all time wasn’t enough.
Shaq began his professional basketball career in 1992 and retired in 2011, then went on to release platinum rap albums, touring as a DJ, and creating his own reality shows. A ridiculously long list of achievements.
Sarah Michelle Gellar

This iconic actress has been performing since she was six – at six, I could successfully write my own name. Sarah Michelle Geller is best known for starring as Buffy in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and Daphne in Scooby Doo. I know I can’t be the only one who still thinks about the outfits that she wore as Daphne. Her purple co-ords were all over my Halloween Pinterest boards (gingers have to stick together).
Adorably married to her Scooby Doo co-star Freddie Prinze Jr. who played Fred in the franchise, we can’t wait to see pictures of the couple together while she accepts her much-deserved award.
Stanley Tucci

So, it seems like the odds are in his favour. *Cue Hunger Games opening music*.
Stanley Tucci’s career began in 1985 and has highlights such as The Devil Wears Prada, Conclave, and The Lovely Bones. He also produced unforgettable performances in Burlesque, The Hunger Games, and Captain America, and has written several books. A keen food enthusiast, Stanley was sadly diagnosed with throat cancer in 2017, impacting his speech and sense of taste.
However, he made an inspiring recovery after receiving treatment, and has been awarded a star on the 2026 Walk of Fame in the Entertainment category.
Rami Malek

Rami Malek shot to fame after playing the beloved lead singer of Queen, Freddie Mercury, in the biopic Bohemian Rhapsody. However, he has been acting for many years before this. Doesn’t anyone else remember when he appeared in an episode of Gilmore Girls?
The actor has since starred in Mr Robot, Oppenheimer and No Time to Die, and will surely land even more roles now he has been awarded this accolade. We’re just hoping he doesn’t forget his Twilight days. If only we could all be so lucky to have spent time with Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart…
Chris Columbus

If you’re anything like me, you would be surprised to see this name on the list. Not because he doesn’t deserve it, but because I assumed he would have a star already!
Chris Columbus is one of the most famous and successful filmmakers to date, starting his career in the 80s. He has directed and produced cult classics such as Home Alone, Mrs Doubtfire, three Harry Potter films, and Pixels. Note that I left the Percy Jackson films off the list on purpose – yes, I prefer the books.
Regardless of this blip in his career, the director is undoubtedly one of the most deserving names on the2026 Walk of Fame list.
