Theo Silverton (James Cartwright)’s temper gets the better of him once again in upcoming Coronation Street episodes, with massive consequences for his future.
We previously saw Theo becoming incredibly jealous about the close bond between Todd Grimshaw (Gareth Pierce) and Billy Mayhew (Daniel Brocklebank). While there is obviously a close bond between them, what Theo didn’t know was that Billy was supporting Todd when he had a bowel cancer scare.
When Todd found out that he didn’t have cancer, he headed out for a celebratory drink with Billy. Out of revenge for Todd apparently going off with Billy, Theo went to Canal Street with Pete, a client who was going to give Gary (Mikey North) and Theo a lucrative contract for building work.
Todd finally headed home the next day with a hangover and was shocked to find Pete emerging from the bathroom. Theo confirmed the two had slept together and Todd was devastated.

Even after Todd told Theo about his health scare, Theo still tried to twist the situation and make it seem like Todd was to blame for Theo being unfaithful.
With Todd telling Theo to pack his bags, that could have been the end of the relationship – and most sensible people would say that would have been a lucky escape for Todd. But manipulative Theo soon had Todd reeled back in, and even coerced him into telling Billy it would be best if he kept his distance.
While Theo may be capable of manipulating Todd, he’s not so successful with Pete. When he arrives at the builders’ yard for a meeting with him, Pete is flirtatious and says they should have a repeat of the previous night.

Theo says he’s not interested, but when Pete accuses him of being a drama queen Theo flares up. Incandescent with rage, he rounds on Pete.
In the aftermath of this altercation, Pete cancels the contract. This leaves Gary’s entire business hanging in the balance.
Gary tries to placate Pete and salvage the situation, and when Todd sees this conversation taking place he’s shocked to realise that Pete is the man Theo slept with.

Gary is raging that Theo’s actions have had such a massive impact on his business and he tells Theo he doesn’t want to work with him any more as he can’t trust him.
This leaves Theo in even more of a rage as usual – and when Todd has an accident with the car, Theo’s anger explodes again.
‘We have one of those real upsurges in fury that we know you can get from Theo. It’s shocking and it’s very much directed at Todd,’ Gareth Pierce told us.
