These Trader Joe’s Protein Bars Have Achieved ‘Legend’ Status Among Shoppers

If you’re a Trader Joe’s shopper, chances are you’ve likely got a list of items from the grocery store that are your absolute go-tos. The Movie Theater Popcorn and Crunchy Chili Onion are pretty solid around these parts. Well, you may need to make room on that list because there’s an item sold at Trader Joe’s that shoppers are absolutely raving about.

That product is the GoMacro Bars—protein bars that are both plant-based and gluten-free. The proteins bars were recently dubbed “a Trader Joe’s legend” by @traderjoeslist, a popular Instagram account that shares food news.

“This is a Trader Joe’s legend. GoMacro Bars, I have been buying for as long as I have been shopping at Trader Joe’s They have clean ingredients. They’re gluten-free. They’re vegan. And the flavors are insane. It’s like if you like cookies, you’re gonna like GoMacro Bars. And the best part is they keep coming out with new flavors,” said Natasha Fischer of @traderjoeslist.

You’ll find the GoMacro Bars in a variety of flavors, including Heartwarming Treat (oatmeal chocolate chip), Protein Pleasure (peanut butter chocolate chip) and Cool Endeavor (mint chocolate chip).

“I’ve been a longtime fan of the oatmeal chocolate chip but lately the salted caramel + chocolate chip has a hold on me!” Fischer wrote in her caption.

In the comments section to @traderjoeslist’s Instagram post, one person doted on the brand’s Blissful Daybreak (blueberry and cashew butter) flavor.

“The blueberry cashew macros bars are my favorite. I keep them in the fridge and they taste really delicious cold,” they wrote.

For those who may not live by a Trader Joe’s, you can also find the GoMacro Bars at Kroger, Walmart, Target and The Fresh Market.
