They came from SRS! – Bundlezy

They came from SRS!

(WJBF) – Around here, we know not to mess with wasps. But a nearby nest really got messed with.

“Sounds bad. I want to find a way to kill it,” said a guy who heard the news.

Even the BBC is reporting on it: a wasp nest discovered at the Savannah River Site, but it’s no ordinary wasp nest.

“I thought it was kind of strange they would find a nest of radioactive wasps,” said Kenric Holman.

“So obviously, this ended up being a bigger story than I thought,” said Erica Seemann.

And bigger could be the key word here, because in 1950’s sci-fi movies, insects and radioactivity don’t mix. Talk about large and in charge.

“What’s going to happen if you find a nest of radioactive wasps?”

“They’re going to grow and go out and kill everybody,” said Kenric.

“It becomes a mutant and generally turns into something deadly,” said Erica.

“They sting people and try to kill us all,” said Dennis Atkins.

“They grow to the size of a battleship.”

“Yes, they do,” he said.

“You know for a fact they’re going to grow to super-size?” Erica asked.

“I don’t know for a fact, I’m just worried.”

“I mean I don’t know, I hope that they don’t,” she said.

Yes, we all hope we don’t have a 50’s sci-fi thing going down around here, but if we do we got some possible names for the movie.

‘They Came from Savannah River Site.’ Or, ‘SRS: the Super-Sized Radioactive Stingers’.

“That would be good, too,” said Kenric.
