MEXICO CITY.- The Morenoist deputy Cuauhtémoc Blanco Bravo He was caught playing paddle tennis during the session to discuss the National Water Law.
In a remote session of the Budget Committee, the deputies were discussing the opinion on the National Water Law when the former soccer player was asked to cast his vote.
The former governor of Morelos only said his name, thinking that they were passing assistance, when in reality he had to cast his vote on the issue being discussed.
When he opened the camera and microphone of his mobile device, it was observed that Blanco Bravo was in the court with racket in hand.
“Cuauhtémoc Blanco, if you can give me assistance, please, thank you very much,” the former Americanist is heard saying.

Immediately, the deputy Merilyn Gómez Pozos He asks him to cast his vote, but the former soccer player, obviously distracted, limits himself to saying “thank you very much.”
His fellow deputies pointed out that the Morenista was not paying attention to the session, playing during working hours while an issue of national relevance such as water was being debated.
“He is playing paddle tennis, He doesn’t even know what he’s voting for.Pay attention Cuauhtémoc, you are playing paddle tennis, up to here you can hear the rackets“, said PRI member Mario Zamora in a mocking tone.
Later, a representative was heard saying: “He is harassing women,” in reference to the accusations that Blanco has faced in the past for violence against women and alleged rape against his half-sister while he governed Morelos.
The president of the commission had to repeat the question several times, without obtaining an answer, since Cuauhtémoc Blanco disconnected from the remote session.
