This Panera Bread Menu Item Is Making a ‘Craveable Comeback’

Panera Bread, known for its artisan breads, bagels, croissants, cookies and baked goods is having a comeback moment. After rave reviews when they launched last year, their sandwich ‘Dippers’ are back to steal the show.

Ciabatta Dippers refers to two ciabatta sandwiches that are served with a mini vat of soup for dipping. Panera’s launch statement in 2024 states it “brings together the best of both worlds”, a tasty sandwich with Panera’s trademark soups for dipping.

What Is On The Ciabatta Dippers Menu?

The first is the French Ciabatta Dipper, which features marinated, tender sliced steak with ooey gooey provolone and asiago melted on top of toasted ciabatta bread, drizzled with garlic aioli. It’s served with their Bistro French Onion Soup.

The second is the Chicken Pesto Dipper, which features juicy chicken breasts, melted provolone and Parmesan cheeses with basil pesto spread on toasted ciabatta. It’s served with Panera’s Creamy Tomato Soup for dipping.

Last year’s launch featured the French Dipper, which is back on the menu, alongside the Spicy Chicken Dipper, which they’ve changed up this year to feature Chicken Pesto.

Panera’s Other New Menu Items

Also on the limited-time only menu is the Italian Steak and Mozz, Italian Market Salad, Strawberry Basil Lemonade Fresca, Ham Croissant Benny, Brownie Bites and Strawberry Chicken Caprese Salad.

Panera also launched two new here-to-stay items – Ranch Parm BLT Salad and Green Goddess Avo, which is a chunky avocado spread on top of their fan-favorite Country Rustic Sourdough with vine-ripened tomatoes, fresh arugula, crumbled feta and Green Goddess Dressing.

What Fans Are Saying About Panera’s Dippers

Last year, the launch garnered attention on social media, and fans who tried it seemed to enjoy it, which is likely why it’s back on the menu. “My new favorite sandwich. I’ve been craving it like once a week”, said one person. “I just finished eating one and I really enjoyed it”, said another fan. “Please make these part of your permanent menu”, commented another person.

The Ciabatta Dippers are available in Panera Bread locations starting September 10. According to their website, you can order one after 10 a.m. local time.
