Why We Love This Deal
Arc’teryx might be most famous for its durable outerwear, but it’s not exactly a surprise that the Vancouver-based company also makes some killer hiking pants. Right now, REI has one of its best-reviewed styles on sale with a small, albeit seldom-seen discount.
The Arc’teryx Levon Pants are just $113 at REI right now, a rare 19% discount from their normal $140 price tag, and it’s good on both the black and blue colorways. We should also note that Arc’teryx is one of the few brands excluded from REI Outlet’s current $20 off $100 for members sale, but this discount is still sizeable for Arc’teryx, a brand with gear that simply does not go on sale with discounts as large, percentage-wise, as its competitors.

What Reviewers Are Saying
Like pretty much everything Arc’teryx makes, people love these pants. They’ve earned 95 five-star ratings out of 139 total. One climbing guide wrote that they “have worn very well…one pair is about a year old and still looks brand new” despite enduring what sounded like a particularly intense punk rock moshpit where they were shoved and walked on.
A climber called these their favorite pants because they’re “so comfortable and stretchy.” They said, “The material looks like it can handle abrasions on the rock and in the gym.” The fit was also perfect for them. They called it “a slim straight fit, not skinny, but not too baggy; just tapered enough to provide a modern fit.”
If you’ve already got a Delta or Kyanite in your closet, a pair of Arc’teryx Levon Pants will fit in nicely. But even if you don’t, they’re a top-tier pair of hiking pants, one that provides plenty of protection from the elements and won’t hold you back on the trail. They’re also neutral enough to pass a non-outdoorsy pants, a level of versatility that makes this somewhat rare discount an even more enticing deal—while it lasts.
