Mexico City, October 22 (However).- The Secretariat of Public Health of Mexico City (SSa-CdMx) reported yesterday death by Tiffany Odette Cano González, victim of the burst in it Concorde Bridge in Iztapalapa occurred on September 10, bringing the number of people who have lost their lives to 32.

The Secretariat’s report detailed the death of Tiffany Odette Cano González, a 16-year-old girl, who was the daughter of Misael Cano Rodríguez, a 39-year-old man who was also with his grandson at the time of the accident. The woman was receiving medical attention at the National Rehabilitation Institute of Tlalpan, where her father also died on September 11.

On the day of the accident, Tiffany was near Santa Martha with her father and her one-year-old and six-month-old baby, who was also affected by the flames and is therefore admitted to a hospital in Tacubaya.
The Mayor of Iztapalapa, Aleida Álvarez, regretted the death of the young woman and expressed her condolences to her family. His father, Misael Cano Rodríguez, was a worker at the Mayor’s Office.
Prior to the death of the young woman, the death of Óscar Uriel García Rivera, 31, was reported on September 25, who had been hospitalized at the 20 de Noviembre General Hospital since the day of the accident.
On September 10, a tanker carrying more than 49 thousand liters of LP gas overturned at the entrance to the Concordia Bridge, on Calzada Ignacio Zaragoza. The vehicle tried to enter a curve and was left lying down when it hit the retaining wall, which caused a massive fuel leak and an explosion that reached up to 180 meters away, affecting homes, vehicles and passers-by.

From that moment on, the capital authorities mobilized hundreds of elements from the different security and civil protection corporations to assist the victims, and transfer them to the different hospital centers in the capital for medical care.
On the other hand, the Attorney General of Mexico City, Bertha María Alcalde Luján, indicated on October 10 that, as a result of the expert reports that have been carried out on the explosion of the pipe, it was determined that the accident occurred because the driver of the vehicle was speeding, which caused him to lose control of the truck on a curve and caused the subsequent explosion.
