MÉRIDA.- The American actor Tom Wellingrecognized for his role as Clark Kent in the series “Smallville”will visit Merida, Yucatan next year.
This Tuesday afternoon speculation began on social networks about a possible visit by the actor, this after a publication by the Mérida Tsunami Convention anticipating a special announcement for the evening.
Subsequently, a photo of an advertisement for the event was released with the image and name of the protagonist of “Smallville” y “Cheaper by the dozen”, supposedly installed in the Cancun Convention Center, Quintana Roo.
Finally, the news was confirmed after opening the online sale of tickets for the autograph signing.
Tom Welling in Mérida: when will he be at the Tsunami 2026 Convention?
The days May 16 and 17, 2026 will be carried out Tsunami Convention Mérida Comic Con 2026 in it Yucatán Siglo XXI Convention Center.
“A screen legend approaches Mérida. His story began with an impossible destiny… And now, his arrival will be epic”, the organizers of the event wrote this afternoon.
Tom Welling established himself as one of the most emblematic faces of the superhero genre thanks to his interpretation of the young Clark Kent / Superman in Smallville (2001-2011).

- Autograph with Tom Welling: $1,199 MXN + CS*

- Photos 3:00PM – 5:00PM and 6:00PM – 7:30PM
