Tommy Fury has finally spilled what life was really like co-parenting daughter Bambi with Molly-Mae Hague after their shock split – and honestly, it’s chaotic.
The couple, both 26, sent us into meltdown last summer when they announced they were done, just a year after getting engaged. But while the pair have since got back together, Tommy’s new BBC Three doc, Tommy: The Good. The Bad. The Fury, shows just how messy things got in the meantime.
The series goes into Tommy’s struggles with alcohol and how it nearly cost him his relationship and his family. In one scene, filmed while he and Molly were living apart, he opens up about the tricky reality of co-parenting Bambi.
Tommy also revealed the one thing that makes parenting with Molly-Mae difficult is that he’s a soft touch, and will let Bambi get away with anything.
“Obviously it’s tricky because Molly’s at her house and I’m here at the minute. When Bambi’s here, it’s all me, and when she’s there, it’s all her. I’m wrapped around her little finger ten times so I’ll literally do anything for her. But at least with Molly she knows she can’t get away with it… but with me, she definitely can. She can get away with murder.”
Honestly, relatable.
Elsewhere in the show, the couple proved they were still keeping things friendly for the sake of Bambi, taking playful digs at each other in front of the cameras. Molly roasted Tommy’s fashion choices, while he came for her intelligence – as you do.
Tommy also put rumours to bed once and for all, confirming cheating wasn’t behind the split, but admitting his drinking had made him neglect his role as a partner and dad.
And while things were clearly tense at the time, the couple are now firmly back on – which means Bambi’s “get away with murder” era might not last much longer.
