It’s been more than a decade since George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin Clooney tied the knot. Earlier this year, the Oscar-winning actor told CBS Mornings that the couple had never gotten into an argument.
But Is This Claim True?
Clooney, 64, appeared on Travis and Jason Kelce‘s podcast, New Heights, in the latest episode, and the Kansas City Chiefs star pressed the actor if his claim was true. Clooney doubled down.
“No, I’m not lying,” Clooney said. “Travis, shall we ask you the same questions?”
Kelce, who is engaged to superstar Taylor Swift, laughed and, indeed, answered the question.
“Well, it’s only been two and a half years, and you’re right. I haven’t gotten into an argument,” he said. “Never once.”

No Point in Arguing
Clooney, who married Amal in 2014, insisted to Travis that arguing with your significant other is pointless.
“Neither of us are gonna win the argument, so why get in?” Clooney asked rhetorically.

Jason chimed in, asking the actor what’s the secret to not arguing.
“Dude, I’m 64 years old,” Clooney answered. “And what am I gonna argue about at this point? You know? I’ve met this incredible woman that is, she’s beautiful and smart, and she stands for all the most important things that I believe in in the world. And I can’t believe how lucky I am. So what am I going to fight about?”
