According to records of the National Seismological Service (SSN)Mexican institution in charge of monitoring seismic activity in Mexico in real time, The states of Chiapas, Veracruz and Oaxaca recorded seismic activity during the early hours of October 31.
The SSN operates a network of seismological stations distributed throughout the country that send data continuously and in real time to an analysis center to determine the date, time, magnitude, epicenter and depth of earthquakes.
