Let’s not beat around the bush: We’d all love Trixie and Katya back on RuPaul’s Drag Race. Especially Katya, who is so beloved and amazing at Drag Race that it feels criminal that she doesn’t have a crown alongside Trixie now the pair of them are two of the most famous queens in the show’s history. Trixie and Katya are currently using their platform and their Bald and the Beautiful podcast to do something everyone has wanted for ages – rewatching the entirety of season seven. It’s the show that started it all for the pair of them, and the rewatch has been amazing so far. In the latest podcast, where Trixie and Katya are rewatching season seven of RuPaul’s Drag Race and in particular the iconic Shakesqueer episode, the pair give a revelation of the one thing that would make them return and compete again – when they previously have always said they wouldn’t go back to Drag Race.

Trixie and Katya had arranged someone who worked on the show to send a voice note into the pod explaining about how he pitched the idea for Shakesqueer. He then explains that his pitch for the next All Stars reboot would be to have the entirety of the season seven cast come back and compete again together.
Trixie and Katya lose their minds over this and say “I would do this in a heartbeat” and Katya says “I would too”. There was then some shade from all saying “you know Ginger would do it” – because she’s competed four times. Lol.
Trixie says “Someone hold my wig: I would do that so fast.” Katya says “If I could get three more months preparation than anybody else and about 100,000 dollars more than everyone else – I’d walk into that Werk Room insufferable.” Trixie says “I would do it for not even that much money.” Katya says she would do it for no money. Trixie continues: “If it was actually season seven and I want the same challenges again. I want it to be like an obstacle course.”
Trixie says “We should have the same eliminations and lip syncs. We should do it like a play.” Katya jokes “We could do it in three days. No Untucked.”
They’re half joking, but we just need them to do it. Right now. It would break viewing figures. A Trixie and Katya Drag Race return for 2026!?!?!
