The president of United States, Donald Trump, announced the immediate breaking off of all trade negotiations with Canadaby accusing that country of “fraudulently” using the image and speech of the former president Ronald Reagan in an advertising campaign against duty.
“Based on your atrocious behavior, ALL TRADE NEGOTIATIONS WITH CANADA ARE TERMINATED,” Trump wrote on his website. Truth Socialclaiming that Ottawa manipulated a message from Reagan to interfere in the decision of the Supreme Court American on its tariff policies.

The conflict broke out after the Ronald Reagan Foundation denounced that the government of Ontario used “selective audio and video” of a 1987 speechdistorting the words of the former Republican president. The institution assured that it is evaluating “legal options” for the improper use of the material, while the advertisement, according to Trump, had a cost of 75 million dollars.
