Transport for London has apologised after commuters were stuck in a Tube train carriage for hours.
Monday morning travel on the London Underground ground to a halt after a Jubilee line train ran into trouble yesterday evening.
The culprit for the problem was a faulty train, which wreaked havoc on thousands of journeys during the peak evening rush hour and until today.
One woman said she and her fellow passengers were stranded for three hours inside the carriage before being evacuated.

She took to social media to post a video of herself trapped with other confused passengers.
To make matters worse, her carriage was packed full of commuters heading home, with many forced to stand while waiting.
She posted a video on TikTok of the ordeal, asking TfL ‘can I get compensation for life for this PTSD event.’
After the long wait, the passengers were led out by British Transport Police officers and station staff in dramatic dramatic-looking scene as they climbed out of the stationary train and onto the empty tracks.
Other passengers were caught in the same situation, with one man trapped in a carriage, which appeared to have its lights off.
J Soeiro Goncalves said he was stuck on the carriage for two hours before being taken out and walking back to the nearest station.
Another passenger said he was stuck ‘in the pitch black for over an hour sweating my a** off, I’m genuinely going to freak out.’
