The star took the role of Erica from Prisoner to the stage while in the UK during the late 80s.

After a number of sold out performances, the play toured the country.

Patsy was married to John Sumner, the founder of the Melbourne Theatre Company, in 1959, but their relationship ended eight years later.

While popular in Aus, the show was huge success with international audiences including the US and the UK and has since garnered a cult following, with many fans longing for the opportunity to see if from the start.

In addition to its hard-hitting storylines and dramatic twists, Prisoner: Cell Block H is also notable for featuring early appearances from actors who would go on to star in Neighbours – such as Ian Smith and Colette Mann – as well as Home and Away’s Ray Meagher, who played three different characters.
