AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) – Two people are dead after what appears to be a public domestic dispute, resulting in a shooting.
The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office responded to the the Best Buy off of Walton Way Extension in reference to a shooting that took place in the parking lot.
According to the sheriff’s office, the people involved know each other and the incident appears to be a domestic dispute, so there is no danger to the public.
Coroner Mark Bowen was called to the scene and has confirmed that two individuals have died after being shot at least once.
Investigators are currently on scene and handling the incident.
