This article contains spoilers for tonight’s Coronation Street, which has not yet aired on TV but is available to watch now on ITVX.
Two Weatherfield residents were facing death in Coronation Street following the tragic midsummer party, after Nina Lucas (Mollie Gallagher), Summer Spellman (Harriet Bibby) and Lauren Bolton (Cait Fitton) all ingested LSD.
Though Nina and Summer knew exactly what they were doing, Lauren had no idea that the cup she’d drunk from had been spiked with LSD, and was left terrified when she began to hallucinate abuser Joel Deering.
In her haste to get away from him, she ended up falling, before Aadi Alahan (Adam Hussain) helped her back to his to sleep off the drugs.
In tonight’s episode, Lauren collapsed and was rushed to hospital, leaving the partygoers terrified for her.
Fortunately, Lauren pulled through, with doctors revealing that she’d suffered a broken rib when she fell, which caused her spleen to rupture.

However, another victim may not have been so lucky, as more details about Summer and Nina’s trip came to light.
After the party was crashed by police, Nina and Summer snuck out in a bid to not get caught, and the next time we saw them they were distraught in the cafe about something that had happened on the way home.
In tonight’s episode, Aadi was forced to give a statement about the drugs in Lauren’s drink, and warned Summer and Nina that he’d lied, insisting that they hadn’t known that there were any drugs at the party.
Though Nina and Summer disagreed with Aadi’s decision to lie, they promised to back up his story.
Once they were alone, panic set in again, as Nina insisted that they should tell the police what had happened.

As Summer pointed out that they had retraced their steps and not found anyone, she argued that they were just hallucinating – though Nina counteracted that they’d both seen the same thing.
It was then that Nina dropped the bombshell of what had really happened – they’d left someone to die.
With Summer insisting that that was even more reason to keep their mouths shut, will we ever find out who was left for dead?
Is there a chance they’re still alive, or could Summer and Nina be facing murder charges?
