
Two teenagers have been killed on a railway track near Stockport in Greater Manchester.
The incident happened in Poynton at around 10.25pm last night on July 3.
Railway lines in the area were closed for the rest of the night and into the morning while emergency services were at the scene.
Work continued into Friday morning with rail services resuming by 6.15am.
The British Transport Police (BTP) is leading the investigation and the circumstances around the two deaths have not yet been confirmed.
