Selena Gomez’s fiancé Benny Blanco is being seriously slammed on social media after posting a very out-of-touch video of himself eating a box of blueberries that costs $200.
The music producer was sent the crazily expensive fruit in a PR package and filmed himself opening the boujie blue box and taste testing the blueberries for TikTok.
“These blueberries they just sent me are the biggest things I’ve ever seen in the world,” he said in the video. “They come like individually packed. This is insane. Look at this blueberry.”
The fruit looks like a posh box of chocolates, with each one in its own little slot, perfectly lined up in rows of five. For a whopping $200, you only get 30 blueberries.
“Ok, I’m going to taste it,” he said before taking a small bite and gasping in shock: “Oh my god. It’s like a f***ing meal.”

He held up one of the massive berries, which look at least four times the size of a normal blueberry, and said: “Can you guys even see the scale of this? I don’t know how, they’re f***ing huge.”
Benny himself admitted that the price of the “delicious” blueberries is totally “crazy,” but people are still dragging him in the comments for being so tone deaf.
“Sir, we’re not rich enough to relate to this,” one person said, while another added: “$200 for 30 blueberries is insane especially when people can’t even buy school supplies.
“Meanwhile, people can’t afford life, but here we are watching a rich dude eat $200 blueberries. Like how is this real life?” a third person agreed.
Another person quoted Kourtney Kardashian when she told Kim, “there are people dying” after she lost her diamond earring. I mean, it’s true. People are dying while others are eating $200 blueberries.
Benny hasn’t responded to the backlash, but he’s probably busy finalising his wedding plans, as him and Selena are due to get married very soon.
