Update | Will Siphesihle Ndlovu join Kaizer Chiefs abroad?

Kaizer Chiefs recently announced the signing of Siphesihle Ndlovu as their sixth of the window thus far. 

Chiefs announced five other signings earlier in the week and have not slowed down after acquiring Ndlovu. 

Ndlovu has extensive topflight experience

Ndlovu first rose to prominence at Maritzburg United, now Durban City. His impressive form at the club saw him earn a big move to Chiefs’ arch rivals Orlando Pirates. As game time started to dry up for him at the Buccaneers, he joined SuperSport United on an initially loan deal. That deal then became a permanent transfer, seeing him become a stalwart for the Pretoria-outfit. 

But now with SuperSport set to be defunct, Ndlovu took the opportunity to quickly jump ship to Chiefs. On Saturday morning, the club officially announced the combative midfielder as their latest addition.

Now Ndlovu joins with the club already having left for their pre-season tour to the Netherlands. Chiefs have now issued an update on whether or not he will join his new teammates out in Europe.

Previously with SuperSport United, for whom he played 28 matches in all competitions last season, the energetic midfielder and will add skill and valuable experience to Amakhosi’s midfield. The 28-year-old, who was born in Pietermaritzburg, is set to join his new teammates in the Netherlands within the new few days once all the travel arrangements have been finalised.” Wrote the club website
