MEXICO.- The US Army killed fourteen people after attacking four boats what linked to drug traffickingin an operation in international waters of the Pacific Ocean, off the coast of Colombia, Secretary of War Pete Hegseth reported this Tuesday.
“Yesterday, at the direction of President (Donald) Trump, the War Department conducted three lethal kinetic attacks against four vessels operated by designated terrorist organizations (DTO) that trafficked narcotics in the Eastern Pacific,” the Pentagon chief wrote in X.
Hegseth assured that eight “narcoterrorists” They were on board the boats during the first attack, four during the second operation and three in the third. “A total of 14 narcoterrorists They died during the three attackswith a survivor,” he added.

It reported that all attacks were carried out in international waters and there were no injuries among US forces. In addition, he insisted that the United States Southern Command (Southcom) “immediately” began the protocols to rescue the only survivor of the three attacks.
Mexico rescues sole survivor
“The Mexican search and rescue authorities accepted the case and assumed responsibility for coordinating the rescue,” he said.
The president of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum, confirmed this Tuesday the rescue of a survivor by the Mexican Navy for “humanitarian reasons” who was traveling on one of the vessels allegedly linked to drug trafficking and attacked by United States forces “in international waters.”
