He United States Department of Transportation will cut 13 routes of Mexican passenger and cargo airlines to its territory, in response to non-compliance with the 2015 air transport agreement, announced this Tuesday night secretario Sean Duffy.
This means that Donald Trump’s government will not allow Mexican airlines to operate new and some existing flights from the Felipe Ángeles International Airport (AIFA), located in the State of Mexico.
The US Department of Transportation revoked the approval of 13 Mexican airline routes and tentatively canceled all passenger and cargo flights from AIFA.

Why were 13 AIFA routes to the United States removed?
The new order from the US government cancels all combined services —those in which airlines transport passengers and cargo on the same flight—between the United States and the AIFA.
In addition, the measure freezes any expansion of said services by Mexican airlines between the United States and the Benito Juárez International Airport in Mexico City, according to a press release from the Department.

He added that Mexico has canceled or frozen flights american airlines for three years, in violation of the treaty.
