The Mayor’s Office Venustiano Carranzaheaded by Evelyn Parrawas consolidated as one of the best evaluated districts of Mexico City in government effectiveness, according to the results of the most recent National Survey of Urban Public Safety (ENSU)published by the National Institute of Statistics and Geography (INEGI).
In the category of “Perception of the population aged 18 and over on the effectiveness of their city government in solving the main problems”, Venustiano Carranza obtained a positive perception, positioning itself favorably and above mayors such as Gustavo A. Madero, Cuauhtémoc, Miguel Hidalgo or Coyoacán and exceeding the national average.
The result obtained in the ENSU reflects the constant work of direct attention in the territory that promotes Evelyn Parra through a close and decisive model in response to citizen needs, allowing immediate solutions to be provided to various neighborhood requests and maintaining permanent communication with the community. Such is the case of Tequio that both Parra Álvarez and his entire cabinet carried out this weekend to recover the median of the Avenida, Bordo de Xochiaca in the Arenales area.
And, if that were not enough, in just the last few months, more than 4 thousand services have been provided through the program “Citizen Thursday”which travels through different points of the district to meet the requests of the residents of the district such as pruning trees, repairing public lighting, clearing sediments, strengthening surveillance and legal advice, among other actions.
With these advances, Venustiano Carranzagoverned by the Mayor Evelyn Parrareaffirms its leadership as one of the municipalities best evaluated in government effectiveness in Mexico City, thanks to a government that listens, acts and offers tangible results for the benefit of its citizens.
