Immediately, a student pulls the attacker away from the badly injured young man, who begins to convulse due to the impact he suffered on the head, unleashing panic in the group.
The other students, scared, tried to help him without success. The images caused outrage on social networks, where Internet users questioned the lack of supervision of young people by teaching staff.
The Secretariat of Education and Culture of Colima reported that the fight occurred last Wednesday, October 29, at the school located in the Terraplena neighborhood in Manzanillo, at 8:40 a.m., when teachers were changing between classes.
At the scene, the young fwas attended to immediately in accordance with the protocols of the School Safety and Emergency Program and the intervention of emergency services was requested, who with the presence of the mother of the family, it was decided to transfer her to Clinic 10 of the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS) in this Manzanilla municipality, to receive specialized care.
“The minor affected remains hospitalized waiting for the inflammation caused by a contusion to the head to subside, in order to keep him under observation and to perform studies to rule out any risk or complications,” the Secretariat said in a statement.
The state agency ensured that it gave institutional and legal support to the families so that they informed the ministerial authorities about the events that occurred and proceeded in accordance with the law, with the aim of safeguarding the well-being of the minors and carrying out the corresponding demarcation of responsibilities.
