Mexico City, October 25 (However).- Authorities of the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS) began an investigation after it went viral in social networks a video in which two alleged internal medicine They make fun of the screams of a patient in the Area General Hospital with Family Medicine (HGZ/MF) No. 2, known as IMSS Reformin Irapuato, Guanajuato.
The clip, about 30 seconds long, was widely broadcast on social networks and shows at women using the uniform institutional and face masks, while recording a video with a clown makeup filter.
In the images, both laugh in front of the camera and one of them simulates a scream, while in the background the cries of a person can be heard.

According to reports, the recording would have been made on October 16, although the cause of the screams and the patient’s state of health are unknown.
However, the material provoked strong indignation among Internet users, who described the behavior as a lack of empathy and demanded sanctions.
Given the controversy, the IMSS issued a statement on October 21 in which it “categorically condemned any conduct contrary to the principles of respect, ethics and professionalism that govern public service and medical care.”

“The actions by the undergraduate intern doctors do not correspond to the code of conduct under which the public servants of the Institute must abide,” the official statement stated. Likewise, he confirmed that an internal investigation has already been initiated to determine responsibilities and determine the corresponding sanctions.
So far, the names of those involved have not been revealed nor has additional information been issued about the allegedly affected patient.
