Vile Theo takes sickening action to humiliate Todd in chilling Coronation Street scenes

Theo Silverton’s (James Cartwright) horrific behaviour towards boyfriend Todd Grimshaw (Gareth Pierce) reached new levels of depravity in recent Coronation Street scenes.

Todd has been walking on eggshells around his partner for weeks now, with Theo’s aggressive behaviour making an appearance more and more frequently as their relationship has progressed.

Viewers first realised that something was wrong when Theo made nasty comments to Todd, before forcing him to sleep on the couch.

From there, his abuse escalated to force-feeding Todd a kebab and banning him from seeing Billy Mayhew (Daniel Brocklebank).

However, Theo has also adopted the tactic of love-bombing Todd, meaning that he is overly nice and loving at times in order to keep him on side.

One such example was when he recently bought Todd a car, which is what caused most of the problems in tonight’s episode.

Todd was keen to show off his new wheels to friend Sarah Platt (Tina O’Brien), and she was marvelling at the features inside when she got a call from Harry’s school, asking her to pick him up.

Todd offered to drive her, and she accepted, but it ended in disaster when Harry spilt milkshake over the back seats.

As they cleaned up the mess, Todd anticipated that Theo would react badly to the damage, though when he saw what was going on, Theo was surprisingly calm, pointing out that it was an accident and brushing off Sarah’s offers to pay for it to be professionally cleaned.

However, when they got home, Theo let his true feelings out and berated Todd for picking Harry up and allowing the accident to happen, insisting that he pay for the car to be professionally cleaned himself.

Todd obliged, but things only got worse when he accidentally scratched the paintwork of the vehicle.

Knowing how badly Theo had reacted to the milkshake spillage, Todd knew he would be furious about the scratch, and so tried to get the car repaired before Theo found out.

Unfortunately, after Todd left the car in the capable hands of Kevin Webster (Michael Le Vell), the mechanic told Theo that he wouldn’t be able to do the repair until the following day.

Silently seething, Theo headed home and sat down for dinner as if everything was normal, but quickly turned the subject of conversation to the car.

Todd made up a story to cover the truth, which only made Theo angrier, and when he finally snapped, he sent the entire dinner smashing across the floor as he screamed at Todd.

Later, as Todd tried to apologise and explain, Theo ordered him to close his eyes, before cruelly pouring a bottle of milk over his head.
