Wait! Kerri Colby just revealed how long it took to film each Drag Race All Stars 10 bracket

For this year’s All Stars 10, the RuPaul’s Drag Race rulebook got told to well and truly sashay away. The Tournament of All Stars, as it’s been dubbed, has been the breath of fresh air Drag Race has needed to be actually an engaging and exciting watch once more. The cast slap, but the formula to break the queens into three groups and compete to advance to semi finals and onwards has given so many of the girls more time to not only guarantee they have a trio of eps each to showcase their drag, but the intimate group format lets them shine with maximum screen time. Now, All Stars 10 diva Kerri Colby just spilled how long it took for each Drag Race bracket this year to be filmed, and it’s fascinating.

It all came out at a viewing party

You know no tea gets split like the overflowing load of goss the queens dish when at a Roscoe’s Tavern viewing party, and this one was like no other. Kerri Colby was there with Willam and revealed how long the process was for the queens as they navigate the Drag Race All Stars 10 bracket for the first time and how it all got filmed.

Willam asked Kerri directly “It’s three weeks for us [watching the show], but how many days was it for you guys [filming the show]? Like, six? Or eight?” to which Kerri replied “You want me to get in trouble auntie!”

“It’s a week. It’s literally seven days from get there to your hotel to get back home,” Kerri claimed. “Seven days.”

This is obviously different to how the show portrays it – with most reality TV claiming a week between episodes in order to align with the weekly wait viewers have at home for new episodes.

Willam and Kerri also shared how much they’re enjoying the new formula, and honestly – same. “I love it,” Willam admitted.

Kerri said, “I think it’s fun because you get so much more of each girl — if they’re giving it — per week. The opportunity is there; you just have to rise to that occasion. I wasn’t in the top six on my season, so you get like a lot more screen time, and a lot more time with the judges. It’s more intimate. But it’s also, like, you gotta think fast.”

Kerri, who failed to advance to the semi finals in dramatic scenes we saw on Friday as she clashed with Mistress Isabelle Brooks, did say she wishes the brackets actually had five weeks rather than three. I’m not too sure, and I also think the brackets should alternate rather than three episodes in a row of the same bracket. Just my hot take!
