Hollyoaks fans, there is not long to wait for one of its biggest weeks of all time, and a brand new trailer has showcased what we’re in for.
Warren Fox (Jamie Lomas) is back and featuring in three different shows – Jamie has been busy!
The villain will rock up in Hollyoaks, Hollyoaks Later AND the Brookside crossover – and he’s at the centre of a whole heap of trouble as always.
As you’d expect, Hollyoaks stalwart Tony Hutchinson is also at the centre of the drama where he belongs, as he gets ready to marry Diane (Alex Fletcher).
But with Darren Osborne (Ashley Taylor-Dawson) out for revenge, his life may be in danger.
Elsewhere, serial killer Jez Blake (Jeremy Sheffield) is spotted flying a plane with a manic grin on his face.
With the aircraft suddenly out of control, I don’t like the look of this as it could plunge a disaster upon the village and the residents.
After all, we were promised a stunt weren’t we?
Let’s dive a little deeper, then. The trailer might only be 40 seconds, but every second counts.
It’s Tony and Diane’s wedding day and they arrive for the big day with re-cast Ant, Ro and Dee Dee before saying ‘I do’ in front of friends and family – including the women in his chequered love life – Nancy, Marie and Mercedes.
We see Tony and Diane share a kiss, but the joy isn’t going to last – it’s a soap wedding after all.
At the wedding they make it through the ceremony, but Diane is seen confronting Tony over being the father of Nancy’s daughter Morgan.
It is a secret that has sent Darren spiralling and planning to kill Tony on his wedding day.
Could it really be the end of the show’s biggest character? There’d be no bigger shock than that to mark the pivotal 30th anniversary.
Believing she has outwitted Jez a reinvented, Clare Devine arrives at an airfield to make her escape with the cash she has recovered.
Dodger and armed police are hunting Jez at the airfield but he has escaped is piloting the aircraft.
Unlucky, Clare but what consequences will she face as the law catches up with her?
And just what is Jez planning next? The wedding reception party are startled by the light aircraft losing control overhead…
Loved up Peri and Tom are giddy in the throes of their rekindled romance and appear to be celebrating something.
Donny tells Sinbad that he has stop running from his demons – before travelling to Brookside Close, where we will be reunited with some very familiar faces.
In Hollyoaks Later, the teens are in Liverpool on a jaunt and Warren and Donny are involved in a car chase.
Expect things to get dark – what else would one expect from a late night special?
This is the show that impaled a killer through the face with knitting needles and sent someone hurtling to their death when their parachute failed.
I can confirm that not everyone will survive the week but would I ever ruin it for you? Come on, given you have so little time to wait, let’s all embrace the many, many surprises in store.
The huge episodes kick off on E4 and Channel 4’s streaming service from Monday 20th October.
Oh and you want more treats? Metro will be heading to set to interview many cast – and we will bring the gossip to you, both about the big eps and what the consequences further ahead might be.
Because the show isn’t going to quieten down anytime soon!
