Wembley Stadium officials have launched an investigation into allegations that hundreds of Oasis fans were smuggled into one of the band’s recent reunion shows without a ticket.
The Mancunian rock icons, currently on their Live 25 tour, played a string of sold-out dates at the London venue between July 25 andAugust 3 – their first appearances there since 2009.
But reports have now emerged that up to 200 people gained entry to at least one show by paying £350 each to bypass normal ticket checks.
According to The Sun, two women allegedly orchestrated the scam, using a disabled entrance to smuggle in large groups. Two concertgoers told the paper they were part of a crowd all carrying identical tickets.
They said the organisers claimed to have ‘ten groups of 20’ waiting to get inside.
The pair described being given a ticket, having a shape drawn on their hands, and being told to approach the disabled door at Entrance M, despite the tickets stating Entrance F.

‘We showed our stamped hands to the person on the door, they scanned the tickets — even though we all had the same one — and let us in,” one said.
‘Another member of staff then handed us a golden circle wristband and that was it. There were zero security searches. We just walked straight in.’
Wembley Stadium confirmed they were aware of the allegations.
‘Entering Wembley Stadium without a ticket is a serious offence and we are investigating these allegations,’ a spokesperson said. ‘If they are substantiated, we will refer our evidence to the police.’
The supposed breach comes during one of the most anticipated musical reunions in years – one that has been rife with drama.
One of the band’s Wembley stadium shows was struck by tragedy when a 40-year-old man fell to his death.

The Metropolitan Police said: ‘A spokesperson for the Met Police said: ‘At around 10.19pm on Saturday, August 2, officers on duty at Wembley Stadium for the Oasis concert responded alongside venue medics and the London Ambulance Service to reports that a person had been injured.
‘A man – aged in his 40s – was found with injuries consistent with a fall. He was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
‘The stadium was busy, and we believe it is likely a number of people witnessed the incident, or may knowingly or unknowingly have caught it on mobile phone video footage.’
Oasis announced their comeback in August 2024, ending a 16-year split that began when Noel Gallagher quit following a backstage altercation at the Rock en Seine festival in Paris.
The Wembley shows were part of the UK leg of a world tour that will also take the band to Edinburgh’s Murrayfield Stadium and Dublin’s Croke Park before heading to Japan, South Korea, South America, Australia and North America later this year.
