Love Island 2025 feels like it was sent from the gods above to answer all my qualms and tiresome ways with this show and give me exactly what I’ve wanted for ages. Gone are the days of a boring first week, and here is the era of a first week that is somehow more compulsive viewing than the last few years of summer programming have managed in their entirety. It’s really the perfect mix of the ones you really love to watch and the ones who you love to hate watch – and that’s what makes a great season of Love Island. We’ve had sneaking, we’ve had chaos and we’ve had full on scraps – so here’s the Love Island 2025 cast ranked by vibes alone now we’re firmly one week in!
17. Ben

via ITV
Something about this man makes me feel unpleasant. I think it’s because he’s with my precious Shakira and I think she deserves someone so much better. Reminds me a LOT of Luca in his original season (derogatory).
16. Remell

via ITV
At first I thought he seemed like a really nice lad but after that whole fiasco in the challenge where he said that girls having guys best friends is a red flag, and proceeded to say “no guy best friends”, I just really can’t get on board. It’s such an eye-roll, heterosexual coded mindset of straight men to have and I don’t like it. Hated when he said “I’ve been in that position and I knew my intentions.” Speak for all of mankind do you know, pal?
15. Helena

via ITV
I actually feel like Helena has got off very lightly about how she treated Shakira in that whole sneaking off with Harry fiasco. That and the fact she got told she was good for a bit of fun, basically – and still let him off.
14. Harry

via ITV
It takes two to tango, but there’s a reason Harry has been at the centre of almost every upset and aggy vibe in the villa. Good TV but I don’t trust him as far as one of the lads more muscled up than me in the villa could throw him.
13. Meg

via ITV
I understand Meg has felt threatened by her situation with Dejon as he’s been hit with a lot of bombshell attention – and worse still, he’s told her what she wants to hear whilst telling the bombshells he was open. This has made her come across as frankly quite neurotic which isn’t the best look. I think her biggest flaw here is that she’s directed a lot of the lack of reassurance as quite nasty anger towards the girls whose literal job it is to get in there and flirt. Bad vibes!
12. Tommy

via ITV
Didn’t mind Tommy in a sort of Tom Skinner “bosh” manner – but the way he argues and spits his dummy out is bad vibes to me personally. He just came across as immature and babyish in the way he handled the Shea situation. It’s giving… he’s insecure about how hot Megan is and is stressed she’s gonna move on. And maybe he should be!
11. Megan

via ITV
Was quite liking Megan for a while until she sided with Meg in the whole “let’s all shout at the newbies” era, and I’m so glad Alima called her out for it. No one likes a pile on! But I could be open to a redemption arc.
10. Emily

Via ITV
Everyone’s buzzing over Emily and her “respectful” ways of entering the show but I don’t think she was any more or less respectful than Yasmin or Malisha. Just more boring, sadly! And if I was Conor I’d be firmly team Toni because she’s a queen, that one.
9. Dejon

via ITV
Really want to like Dejon because think he seems like a lovely boy. Unfortunately, I am not blind and can see he is quite clearly treating any girl who shows him the attention the exact same energy before saying Meg was always the one for him. In the words of Dakota Johnson, “actually, that’s not true Ellen.”
8. Shea

via ITV
A very calm albeit boring man. I like the way he handles situations. Would be unstoppable if he could make literally anyone laugh. Just once.
7. Harrison
Granted we’ve seen a grand total of 10 minutes of Harrison but I like him. And not just cause he shares my name. Seems like a genuine and down to earth guy and I hope he makes my Toni happy. Or my Malisha. Whoever goes it’s a lose lose situation, but a win win for Harrison.
6. Yasmin

via ITV
I know some might boo me getting Yasmin ranked so high vibes wise compared to the other Love Island 2025 cast here, because I reckon she rubs many up the wrong way, but she’s got a shameless chaos to her that I can’t help but love. Sure, ask Dejon for a threesome and cause a meltdown! It’s the kind of feral antic I simply adore to see.
5. Conor

via ITV
Kicking off the top five ranked is my favourite lad in the villa vibes wise so far in Love Island 2025. Considering he was a last min replacement after THAT saga just before the show began, Conor has constantly proved not all rugby lads are bad and I think he’s just really lovely vibes. Chill, charming, pleasant. You can’t go wrong!
4. Alima

via ITV
Here’s to absolute icons who stand up for what’s right in the villa even when it means calling out your friends and not taking the easy option! Cheers! Now please abandon Remell for someone more worthy.
3. Shakira

via ITV
From literally the second go I’ve always loved Shakira. The concept of being from Burnley and sharing your name with a woman who has a statue of the truth telling hips in Columbia? Wow. I love northern gals and I love theatre-y gals. She’s Molly Marsh’s Mario. Once she swerves Ben she will be my winner.
2. Malisha

via ITV
This is how you be a bombshell! It’s abysmal we’ve got to see the top two girls in the villa potentially go right now. Loved her from the off and she gave us good reality TV whilst also bravely going for what she wanted and never letting Meg get her down. Diva.
1. Toni

via ITV
I cannot believe this show has made me invested in the joy of an American, but here we are. I thought Toni was going to be evil vibes – but she’s the top ranked Love Island 2025 cast because she’s the most level headed, well rounded and caring soul in the entire villa. I love the way she handles things with lads she’s talking to, but this is truly a girl’s girl also who has amazing communication skills. Need to queen out with her as a matter of urgency.
