Everyone was shocked to the core when Remell decided to stick in his couple with Alima after getting very close with Poppy at the Love Island sleepover.
Even Helena said she was surprised, admitting that he hit it off with the blonde bombshell a lot quicker than he did with Alima in the main villa.
We haven’t really seen much of Remell and Alima at all, so what are they really like as a couple? Well, dumped Islander Malisha has revealed all.
Speaking to Cosmopolitan UK, she said: “They are actually really funny. They’re very different but opposites do attract and I feel like they balance each other out.”
“They are a great couple together. They do have a lovely bond and I do see them blossoming into something really good but they do need a bit more screen time.”
It sounds like they do get on, but the way Remell was speaking to Poppy in the sleepover villa made it seem like he only had eyes for her.

“I’m being comfy around you still. It’s the first time in, you know, the villa, that I have felt like this so it’s telling me something,” he said.
Remell told her things were “good” with Alima now but getting there was a “bit shaky,” claiming it hadn’t been smooth sailing for them.
“And it’s like, maybe I’m even waiting on the fact that, I need to see if from her side, is it like a me thing why you’re a slow burner, or is it you?” he added.
“Cause if it’s a me thing then I’m done I’m not gonna lie.” The pair then kissed, solidifying that he was picking her at the recoupling… or so we thought.
In one of the most shocking moments of the series so far, the 24-year-old told Maya he would stick in his couple with Alima, because what they have is great.
When Poppy accused him of giving her “mixed signals,” he said the decision had been playing on his mind from the moment he walked in there.
