Calaverandia has various shows that seek to exalt Mexican identity, traditions and culture, with the aroma of copal, chopped paper, marigold flowers and people dressed as catrinas.
Mexico City, October 20 (However).- Calaverandia is the most important Day of the Dead theme park in Mexico and this year it will hold its sixth edition, which will feature more than 30 immersive activities and attractions with high technology, highlighting Mexican traditions in each one.
Attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy and experience the Day of the Dead in a different way through interactive games, artistic installations, photomoments, performances, they will also find characterized characters and attractions such as a cemetery and a huge altar of the dead with an approximate height of 14 meters where they will not want to stop capturing it through photographs.

There are also multi-sensory immersive shows such as:
- “Alma” that takes place on the lake with 4D technology and special effects that, combined with music and lighting, tell the story of the Day of the Dead festivities, highlighting the culture.
- “Comparsa”, a traveling show that tours the entire park and shows the seven deadly sins combining dance, acrobatics and fire.
- “TAÜ”, a play that combines lights and sounds to tell how love and memories transcend over time.
- “El Limbo”, a space where people can dress up and paint their faces, arms or hands with vibrant colors and drink neon drinks.
- “The Underworld” will transport everyone to ancient times traveling through the era of Mictlán.
- “El Omitlán”, the simulation of a spooky town in which visitors will discover houses made of bones and lots of fun, such as a long slide and a pool full of balls.


Mexican flavors
The park will have a great gastronomic offer to enjoy dishes such as: chamorro, tacos de arrachera or al pastor, drinks such as tejuino or hot chocolate and desserts such as the exquisite bread of the dead, chocolate or candy skulls, popcorn, among others. The best thing is that visitors will be surrounded by Day of the Dead elements and live mariachi music in the background.

Calaverandia will take place from October 22 to November 9 in Guadalajara, at Ávila Camacho Park (Av. Manuel Ávila Camacho S/N, Lomas del Country, 44610 Guadalajara, Jalisco).


What is the price of the tickets?
Tickets cost: general adult ticket 790 pesos and general child ticket 390 pesos (plus service charges). This includes Alma Espectáculo, Taü, El Gran Altar Canoil, Omitlán, Inframundo, Tecnolite Cemetery, La Plaza McCormick, El Pueblito, Perron Ball Fountain and Lukat Limbo, Artistic Installations, Interactive Games, Gigantism, Characterized Characters and Photo moments.
He ticket Adult Comfort Pass is priced at 1,520 pesos and the child’s Comfort Pass ticket is 820 pesos (plus service charges). This includes: access to the attractions of the General Ticket, the Great Tracsa Slide, the Trajineras Mundet, Quick access to Attractions, preferential places in shows (subject to availability), access to Comfort Zone (sale of alcoholic beverages and food, special rest area and deck overlooking the lake).
