The Kardashians are in Europe and boy, don’t I know it. I feel like the whole of Italy is filming them right now and everywhere I turn is another POV of Kim Kardashian and North West dodging paparazzi.
A lot of attention is on North, who looks super grown up for 12 – but sadly, most of the talk is focused on one harsh comment about her appearance and the way she walks.
Currently holidaying with her mum and her friend, the celebs have stopped in Florence and Rome, including the Colosseum. But despite having literal blue hair, the one thing people have picked up on is the way North walks.
In clips online, North’s gait has been commented on with people cruelly questioning whether the tween has “knocked knees”.

Loads of commenters under fan and paparazzi videos picked up on North’s legs, referring to how her knees touch when she walks, with one asking: “Why does North walk like that?”
Another user wrote: “My son had knocked knees when he was a toddler. Thank god he grew out of it! Her parents should have been on top of it!”
Some highlighted potential issues of growing up with knock knees, describing their own experiences with the condition. One TikTok user, ChickyNChike, wrote: “They are definitely wealthy enough to hire a proper physical therapist! I had problems with my leg alignment as a kid and luckily found the help I needed as a teenager and now have good alignment and strong knees in my 60s. This isn’t just ‘funny looking’, it can cause long term damage to joints.”
Comments about North’s walk actually started when she was very young, with viewers questioning why her siblings don’t have the same characteristic stride. Her walk has often been compared to those of her younger siblings, Chicago, Saint and Psalm, all who walk quite differently.
Despite this all being speculation, others pointed out that North walks in a similar way to her dad, Kanye West, writing: “Kanye has knocked knees too??” and “Genetics, that is why!”
Sadly it seems to be the main focus on North and Kim’s trip, but many have defended the 12-year-old in the comments, with one user writing: “I have knock knees. I’m now in my 50s and still have knock knees and I’m ok. Please leave this child alone.”
Another said: “Leave North alone. A lot of people have knock knees. The media is always projecting insecurities upon people. Let her be, she is cute the way she is.”
