Emma Raducanu faces a tough second-round women’s singles match at Wimbledon 2025, with the order of play officially confirmed for day three.

The British tennis star takes on 2023 Wimbledon champion and fellow unseeded player Marketa Vondrousova in an exciting SW19 showdown.

It’s scheduled to be the third and final match of the day on Centre Court, with Carlos Alcaraz facing a British opponent before Raducanu’s clash.

Scroll down to find out what time Raducanu vs Vondrousova gets underway – and also when Alcaraz’s battle with Oliver Tarvet will start on Wednesday, July 2 at the All England Club…

What time is Emma Raducanu’s match?

Raducanu will lock horns with Vondrousova after two matches on Centre Court have been completed.

It’s hard to predict an exact time – as it will depend how long the first two matches go on for – but her clash is likely to start at around 6pm UK time.

Play on Centre Court gets underway at 1.30pm BST as Aryna Sabalenka, the top seed in the women’s singles, faces world No.48 Marie Bouzkova.

A women’s singles tennis match lasts between one hour 30 minutes to two hours 30 minutes on average but Sabalenka – given her sheer quality and the opponent she is facing – is likely to wrap things up quicker than that.

If she secured her expected win by 2.30pm, Alcaraz’s clash with Tarvet could get started at around 3pm.

Despite his first-round match going to five sets, Alcaraz, the defending champion in men’s singles, is expected to beat the Briton in straight sets.

A five-set tennis match won in three sets will typically last between two to three hours, so he may finish things up around around 5.30pm, which would allow Raducanu vs Vondrousova to then get underway at 6pm.
