A PENSIONER has tragically died after being run over by a road sweeper.
The woman, in her 70s, was struck and killed while she walked through a busy shopping street in Batley, West Yorkshire, this morning.

Emergency services were scrambled to Commercial Street in the town centre just before 10am today.
