COLUMBIA COUNTY, Ga. (WJBF) – The woman who was reported missing in Columbia County Monday evening is now in the Columbia County Jail.
Reports say Samantha Renee Williams left her daughter at the Publix in Evans. The daughter reportedly told the store manager that her mother said, “sit down and told her that someone is trying to kill her.”
Williams then allegedly left the store without her daughter’s knowledge. She was last seen at the Circle K getting into and Uber.
Deputies spoke with the suspect’s mother who said that Williams does not use drugs or have any mental conditions that she was aware of.
Williams is charged with Reckless Conduct an remains in the Columbia County Jail.
