Woman who speaks to the dead explains why you should never have a mirror facing your bed

A woman who claims she can speak to dead people has explained why you should never have a mirror facing your bed. Anyone else reading this currently sat on a bed… with a mirror facing it? Oh dear.

Leah, known as Psychic Leah on TikTok, is a psychic medium, demonologist and paranormal investigator. I know, what a line-up. She’s had millions of views across her videos. Her pinned video, and one of her most watched of all time, explains the simple bedroom setup, and basically, why it’s a terrible idea.

“I don’t think I can actually stress this enough to people. Do not have a mirror facing your bed,” her video started. Leah then went on to say there are “multiple different reasons” behind this.

She continued: “Mirrors are one of the main reasons we have portals open in our homes. It’s one of the most common reasons I have to go out to people and cleanse their houses. You will have unwanted spirits. You will have all types of spirits in your home and you don’t want to be the one that I have to come out to, so I can clear something low vibrational – typically an entity that isn’t particularly nice.”

Leah said if you’re one of the people who does have a mirror facing your bed and since you’ve done that you’ve had “restless sleep”, this is because of the energy coming out of the mirror. “Especially if there are arguments going on in your home,” Leah added. “Mirrors literally suck in energy.”

She explained she gets called to “countless” homes of people claiming they have unwanted spirits in their houses. Straight away, Leah can tell them it’s the mirror.

“What I suggest you do is you cover the mirror,” she continued. “You can keep it there, [but] cover the mirror with a cloth, blanket, whatever you want. Make sure you’re doing protection prayers over that mirror, you’re setting boundaries and you are also saging it. Please, I beg you, sage it. I’m doing this to protect you.”

Leah also suggested never buying a secondhand mirror, as they “withhold energy”. She said: “Whatever happened within that person’s home, we don’t know if it’s negative, is coming into your home.” So that dusty one you picked up off Facebook Marketplace? You might want to throw it out. Immediately.
