Kim Tate (Claire King) reiterated her feelings towards Graham Foster (Andrew Scarborough) in Emmerdale, making it quite clear she didn’t want his help after two dead bodies were uncovered at Butlers.
The Home Farm businesswoman, like the viewers at home, was left rattled last month when she discovered that ex Graham, who ‘died’ on screen six years ago, was actually still alive.
Joe (Ned Porteous) took the news particularly hard, revealing that he struggled greatly following news of his death and, feeling betrayed, he resolved to cut contact with Graham.
But after some advice from Dawn Taylor (Olivia Bromley), he reconsidered, telling Graham he could live with them at Home Farm.
Kim didn’t take this too well, however, making it quite clear that she wanted Graham out but, not wanting to push Joe away too, she resolved to let him stay under her roof.
Monday’s (February 2) edition of the ITV soap saw Kim and Graham continue to taunt one another in the kitchen of the property.
Graham was keen to spend some family time with Joe, Dawn and the kids but Kim reiterated her belief that, one day, Joe will see through him. In the meantime, however, she has no plans to make nice.
‘[Joe] might be fooled by this facade’, she said. ‘But I know you. You never found happiness so you ruin other people’s every chance you get.’
The show legend also made it quite clear that Graham should ‘expect retaliation’ if he intends to make them suffer any further.
Later, Joe was shaken to the core to learn that bodies had been discovered up on Butlers farm.
While the land is currently owned by Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb), Joe has made it his mission to get his hands on the area. What’s more, he and Kim rented neighbouring farm out to Celia Daniels (Jaye Griffiths), who they now know to have been in running a human trafficking and modern slavery operation.
Knowing full well the bodies must be linked to Celia, Joe and Kim pondered if they could be implicated in any way – or even that they should have picked up on what Celia was up to.

Eavesdropping Graham offered his input, suggesting they ‘get ahead’ of the situation before it gets out of hand. Kim, however, clapped back, reminding him that she didn’t ask for his opinion or advice.
Joe’s plan involved ‘protecting their interests’ while Kim advised caution and ‘respect’ towards those who have died. Graham once again offered to help but Joe was sure he had it covered.
Grinning, Kim added: ‘Our days of needing you have long gone’.
The question is: will the day come when Kim and Joe need help from Graham or have they really got this situation under control? Only time will tell.
